Those are just the mass shooting events since 2012 that involved AR-15 style weapons. A 2015 report from the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service counted 317 mass shootings from 1999-2013.
It’s time to treat this like the public health problem that it is. Nick Kristof’s examination of the issue is a great place to start.
